I had my front lip installed from a shop and I just recently broke my front lip.
I am not sure whether these pieces/nuts were a part of the bumper or the actual lip itself. If they are a part of the bumper, does anybody know what tools I would need to remove them? |

I don't believe mine has those...and suspect yours shouldn't. But for now, they're there for a reason...probably that a clip or two are missing from your aggregate protective plate and whoever did the work forgot, or was someone other than he who took it apart.
See realoem for what should be there. brb I'll find 'some' page close to it and you can confirm with your vin. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_3274

They're fasteners that clip the underbody shield to the bumper. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Like previously said, the plastic rivets just secure the under tray to the front bumper. The rivets are relatively inexpensive, but annoying the garage that took the lip off couldn't have but some generic ones in that cost $0.10.
