How to fix - Dreaded "Collision Warning Malfunction"

Hey guys... been getting this warning message daily for the last week...
"Collision Warning Malfunction"

Is this the dreaded KAFAS camera failure?
If so, anyone had this fixed with a replacement?
I've got the Orange Triangle [ ! ] so, hardware issue.

Car is a 2015, 435i M Sport. No recent mods or collisions up front.

I've got a 3rd party extended warranty with a $500 deductible.
But thinking of just getting the KAFAS camera and swapping it out.

So given the massive response - here's what I am observing...

1. The Collision Warning seems to be related to the camera mounted off the rear view mirror.

2. The issue tends to occur on cold evenings (40's F) when the car is parked outside, once the weather warms up (or the sun heats up the body a bit). The warning/malfunction disappears.

I am thinking that perhaps this might not be an issue with the camera itself but maybe a little bit of thermal expansion(?) If the issue persists, I am thinking about getting some Carbon Conductive Grease.

Just checking in on this thread I started. In short, I took apart the front end of my car and found that the mounting bracket for the ACC sensor was BENT. The bracket is TWO parts. Upper holds the sensor and lower is semi-connected to the bottom of the front end. So hit something hard enough or enough times and it bends the entire ACC bracket.

Friendly neighbor and I hammered it back into shape with an anvil. Replaced everything. Error has cleared and all functions back to normal.
