Sadly my 2016 335D was stolen just a few nights ago. I'd only owned the car for a couple of months

It was a 2016 Alpine White 335D M Sport (FX16 NWA)

Matt Black 624m? alloys. HUD, Heated Seats, Sunroof, M Sport Brakes with blue calipers, black leather interior, Harmon Kardon audio and 30k miles.

I'm not keeping my hopes up that I will see the car again so I'm trying to move on and find something as close to what I had as possible.

Gutted for you Scott , was this on coil overs ?, I'm sure I was looking at this too a while back as the ' NWA ' on the plate stuck out as it was a group I used to listen to.
I got a 430i in the end as I was getting silly quotes on a modded 335d , I've probably owned mine about as long as you had yours, I'd be heartbroken to lose it.
You're taking it like a proper man !, I'd be crying into my t shirt!.
Fingers crossed you get a decent, fast payout and that you find a class replacement.

Yep was on coilovers. It was an amazing specc’d car. I won’t lie, I had a little cry not just for the car as you can imagine, it’s very upsetting to know some scumbags have been in your home whilst your young family sleeps, you start to imagine all sorts of scenarios. They also took my wifes car to add insult to injury. But as they say no use crying over spilt milk, it’s happened and you just have to move on otherwise they win. I will get another and I will be thinking long and hard about our home and it’s security / deterrents.

I've thought about installing the " ghost" set up but wonder if you'd just end up being forced by knife point to give over the code ?.
Devastating as it is what happened to you, there's also unthinkable other scenarios as to how this could have ended...
I hope karma or justice catches up with the loathesom scum very soon....
That was the car then, I only really resisted buying as the rear seats didn't fold which is something I really need and it was a bit far away......
CCTV was something I was thinking about but judging by the amount of footage I've watched on here it doesn't appear to be much of a deterrent....

Shouldn't you wait until your insurance money comes through before looking for another car? They may find it yet too.

Yeah but doesn’t hurt to look / get one lined up. I’m kinda hoping they don’t find it now as it feels tainted now.

I can understand that. Maybe having a car lined up would make it feel worse if the car is indeed recovered?

How long does it have to be missing for before the insurance company pay out on it?

Whatever happens I hope it works out well for you and the scum who took it meet with an unfortunate accident.
