I considered a de-cat when I had my remap just so I could get it to shoot flames then decided for the possibly extra 5-10bhp it wasn't worth it.

It'd sure be hilarious but thats about it.

That's my issue. I quite enjoy the quite side of driving THEN switching over to stupid mode and hearing the fun.

I see you're in Berks. There are a few of us who float around Reading.

Decibel test upon car park entry. No volume no 'in'.

Just under £1750 at Coopers (quoted originally in Reading and matched by Chelmsford) took a whole day. It was the download and tune that took the time - not the hardware. Result - wonderful.

It seems that the software is the time consuming part so i will drop it off first thing and return home and wait until they call.

Just need to work out how to get the original system home or where to cut it so it is still of some use to someone.

Id just keep the back box, the rest is a pain in the ass to transport and i cant see anyone buying it.

Chop it a foot from the backbox and you can stick it in the boot and sell on for £100 pretty easily.

Seems to be the easiest option , i was just unsure how much of the pipework to leave attached.

Cheers - Kenny

There is a little dimple in the pipe to show where to cut the backbox off for the MPE. That would be a good place to cut it. Or a few inches forward of that mark if it's going to be a rough cut.

All fitted today , big to the guys + gals at Douglas Park in Hamilton.

Total fitted price was £1649 with the carbon tips , so if you are looking for one of these upgrades then give Martin a call at the parts department and have a chat.

Now thats done i can move onto the next "thing"

That's a cracking price!
What do you think of it? My first drive back from having it fitted I thought "fucking hell, this is loud". It felt it drone when in sport.
Now I love it!

Delighted with it , full on in sport / sport + but subtle in comfort which is good when wanting a quiet journey home after a 12h nightshift.

A big plus for me was that it will keep the warranty intact for the next 22 months.

Managed 52 mpg on the way home so mileage unaffected.

Carbon tailpipes are quality if you know what you are looking at and seem less bling than the chrome ones.

All in all a happy bunny if a little poorer.

Kenny
