Not read through the whole of this thread. So apologies if this has been asked before.
Some are using 245/35 and 265/35 tyres. What pressures are you running for non run flats?

I am running 36psi all round on my 330d at the moment, but find the ride a little harsh over bumps. About the same as the run flats I was using before.
I was expecting a slightly softer ride.

Thanks in advance

Any experts out there to advise on how did you install 245/35 and 265/35 without poke on f30? Lowering the car? Negative camber etc?

The tires themselves can also be a factor. If you compare the same tire sizes across multiple manufacturers, you will see that the section and tread widths will vary. As an example, I replaced my two rear 285/30/20 MPSSs with 275/30/20 Falken FK510s, and the Falkens are slightly wider.

The car looks awesome, and has somewhat gone from plain Jane to a head turner. I am also running KW Street Comfort coil overs lowering the car by 25 mm all four corners. No rubbing at all. Tires look a bit stretched but nothing absurd. Wheels sit very slightly poked out, would have been great if they were 5mm less offset, but again something very minor and only a trained eye can spot it. These are OEM Ferric Grey 437M wheels off an M3.

Car appears to be in immaculate condition....just tint via wrap overlay or paint match the front (orange) side markers, which will allow the eye not to be distracted by it & will uniform the entire look - - even more!!

Are you running any spacers & what size are the rims?

These are the OEM 437M, so the fronts are 9" and the rear 10". No need for spacers at all, they are as agressive as they can be.

Anyone running these on a bagged car ? Wondering if the fronts and rears will both tuck when aired out.

Also concerned about inner clearance as my OEM 442M tyres (225/40) are very close to the bag on the front, running a 5mm spacer on an 8J ET36 for a final offset of 31

437M is 9J ET29 which will give slightly less inner clearance again.

I'd rather go OEM over the less aggressive replicas though just for overall strength and lightness.

Would need to be 225/45. But both would be really stretched. They technically would fit.

I believe the OP used his OEM tyres:
225/40 front
255/35 rear and didn't have an issue from what I've read.

From reading specs on certain tyre brands 225/40 falls within the suggested range for a 9" wheel and 255/35 can be fitted to a 10J

Only issue I would be a little concerned about is if you used run flats as the stiff sidewalls may not flex as much as a regular sidewall.

These are probably the sizes that ill be going with on mine. More clearance and less chance of scrubbing. Plus the added benefit of using them on my 442M if I decide to switch wheels back to stock and i can then throw the horrible run flats in the bin.

I ordered some Indy 500s in the size I orginally posted. Hopefully they will be ok.

I ran firestones on mine and they were a great sticky tire, great value for the price.

If you actually did, your front tires will be 25" and rears 27" diameter. Fronts probably won't have enough sidewall to stretch it on to the 9" rim. Not only will it look horrible but will be harsh over every pebble.
