i see this is some years ago, but ill try to ask here. i have the 6.5 HU ENTRY system on my car, but i have bought and installed the newer 8.8 screen with NBT HU. it works "fine" but bluetooth does not work and needs to be coded or in some way work with the bt that still is there, because i can still connect to the original bt in the car but its a different one on screen (from the previous car) so my question is does anybody know what more has to be done? someone talked about disconnecting the combox and a FAKRA HSD cable but im totally green on this. hope someone can help

Hi guys,
Short question. Will LCI 8.8 screen 9387453 work with EntryNav2 w/navigation or not? Currently I’ve read in this thread that 65506822626 works with EntryNav2 and NBT Evo ID6 However when looking on the back in particular connectors and markings on 65506822626 and 9387453 I see no difference except the part number. Apix2 is not mentioned on 9387453 too Last edited by SniPro; 08-06-2020 at 02:05 AM.. |

Additional question, somebody wrote in this thread that EntryNav2 with business navigation can not be coded to 8.8 at all. Seems for me not logical at all, is it true? Because I prefer my EntryNav with working 8.8 instead of EntryNav2 with 6.5 even if it has navigation Last edited by SniPro; 08-06-2020 at 08:01 AM.. |

since business nav was only an option on the 6.5 inch cid, bmw doesn't put the extra resources for widescreen since it wasn't ever intended for it. |

on this thread, it seemed that everyone who had issues with the screen being chopped in half had business nav, so that was the conclusion i drew; and it seemed to make since since business nav was only available on the 6.5 inch cid |

Have a 2016 F30 with ENTRYNAV - Just installed the 8.8" part 9387453024
Once installed I started getting "NO SIGNAL", then reconnecting the old screen said the same. So right now I don't have a working display. I've gone through the bimmercode advanced and set the following: HU_NBT > 3000 HMI > DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION = 8.8_1280x480 HU_NBT > 3001 EXBOX > DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display That didn't appear to help. Anyone run into this before? |

I tried coding those exact same values with Bimmercode repeatedly and it did not work. Worked on the first try with E-Sys. It's a little daunting but watch some tutorials and take it step by step. I also have a 2016 with ENTRYNAV. But I never had "no signal," just the cut off screen issue. So possible your issue is different. |

Thanks for the reply, reached out to Steve at codemybimmer and he was reading the code that the display wasn't connected, the old screen didn't work either, so I think I must have damaged the cable when doing the change. Will wait for a new cable to get here and go from there.

I have tried the 65506822626 cid and couldn’t get it to work on a 03.2018 f30 with business navi. All I got was the “no signal” message after coding with bimmercode. I will try fitting a touchscreen 8.8” next, will see what results I get this time.

Got the new cable in, worked with the original screen, connected it to the 8.8" screen and it was just black. Went back in to bimmercode (yes, I know I should use esys, not there yet) - and the HU_NBT tree wasn't there anymore - anyone ran into this?

Other general troubleshooting if this doesn't apply - leave the car for a while so it powers fully off and then come back and try again. |

i've just installed a 626 screen on a UK registered f31 built in May 2018 with business NAV.
i used the coding CID_DISPLAY_SIZE = 8.8 CID_DISPLAY_RES = 1280x480 DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display and all was good and went in pretty quickly, although i also had to change the Nav screen display resolution as the map was displayed at 6.5" even though the other screens were at 8.8". i have a hunch that the park screen sensor screen is also at 6.5" resolution, but couldn't see a code setting for that. Anyone else have the same view and if so how did you resolve? thanks |

Coding lines are those Are you sure coding gone well? What tool are you using? Try to read values again. Then post some pictures on screen issues |

Bit of a long shot, but I have a 2014 pre-LCI F21 M135i (RHD) with business nav (EntryNav). I don’t suppose someone could point me in the direction of the correct 8.8 inch screen I need?

I would use RealOEM to check out what part an equivalent car with your build date and an 8.8" screen was using.
