Match UP 7BMW - plug and play amp for F/G series
Check this out, Match will release a new product that is an alternative to PP86DSP+custom harness, the amp includes the harness so that everything will be plug n play with Hi-Fi F/G series (kinda like the Bimmertech alternative, but priced around 800 euros):
https://www.audiotec-fischer.de/en/d...x/sArticle/490 On the website they also have a DSP config file, which I'm attaching here if there are PP82DSP/PP86DSP users that want to test it. I know I will :P |

Ha! you got me all excited there for a minute
Unfortunately, it's only for: 7-channel Plug & Play upgrade amplifier with integrated 8-channel 64 Bit DSP for BMW HiFi sound systems (option 676) Thought for a minute it was gonna be a PnP replacement for the HK Amp...

It also work with S676A that I assume come with G series. My X3 30i come with HIFI option S676A. I need to make some minor modification to the harness and bracket to fit.
Also, the standard tune (for SUV) from Fischer Audiotec does not sound good. The imaging is wrong. If you do not have a measuring mic and REW, just use a measuring tape and measure each speaker distance to driver seat. You will be amaze how much better it is. https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1559784 |

Hi guys. Got the match amp. How do I add an external sub in the settings. What input do I use?
It's giving me a choice of all the speakers. Do I use rear left and right? I can choose up to 4!! Confusing |

“16 Line Out The Line Out is a mono floating-ground lowlevel output (max.3Vrms) for connecting additional power amplifiers. A specially designed “Balanced Audio Transformer” avoids any ground-loops that may cause undesired alternator noise. Please make sure that you always turn on / off external amplifiers using the remote output (Remote Out) of the UP 7BMW. Additionally this output will be turned off when the “Power Save Mode” of the amplifier is active as well as during software updates. The output can be configured independently of the other amplifier channels with the DSP PC-Tool software.” |

I would choose all 4 (LF, LR, RF, RR). Should be 25% for all 4 analog input channel. I'll be installing my sub next week if I had time to build the subwoofer box.

Why all 4 for my understanding.. So it takes less power away from each other speakeea/channels? Is that right? |

Just a theory but should make sense. As our Head Unit done some processing on stereo signal to quad signal, we would want a balance subwoofer output to the speakers.
Let's look at a scenario where you adjust the fader from front to back all the way. In this case all signal will be channel to rear right and rear left. If we only use front right and left as the sum for subwoofer, in this case the rear speakers will not blend to your subwoofer. Remember our underseat sub is stereo and is the sum of FL and FR. So the trunk sub should be sum of both underseat sub. Hope I explain it clearly and doesn't make it more confusing. |

Any updated tuning file for Match7? I just bought it and will be delivered soon and not sure what to run (amplifier noob currently).
My setup will be fore f30 hifi, but will be replacing speakers to Bavsound stg1 with ghost subs. |

Those “4” channels are low level inputs. Power (high level) channels are outputs. Sub output is RCA - low level. Nothing is taken by something else.
