F31 Front-end collision warning failure

Hello,

I have a problem with 2014a F31 front end collision failure message. It has been there before also, but cleaning the radar has always helped. Now its not going away. With this message the active cruise control is not working, front end collision warning and the start/stop function also(i think so) It just came suddenly, when driving on straight normal road. Maybe someone have had the same problem, and can tell, where i have to search the problem? I also got a fault code 4827BF.. And the fault stays, when clear faults with computer it comes back, if disconnect battery it also comes back..straight when i switch on ignition it says already collision error. Someone sayd that maybe the softwere update and radar calibration helps.. bat this is only maybe. Yes i know, i should go to the dealer, but maybe its so easy and stupid fix, thats why i am asking here, maybe someone have had same problem, and knows what to do.. maybe loose wires, or smth else..

Thanks,

0tt

What are you clearing the faults with? A good OBD diagnostic tool should tell you what the fault codes mean, and usually what needs to be done to fix it.

My friend used a ista+ but he didnt have much time, so it was i quick view. Think i take the car to the dealer. Just thought that i ask from forum before, maybe someone have had the same problem and knows whats the problem(maybe something easy) If i google fault code 4827BF i get many different answers.. some say its something with steering angle, others say thats something with acc calibration. If i get some time, i show the car to mechanic and let you know what was the problem.
Fault code: 4827BF
Fault text: LDM funktion highlevel betriebsbereitschaft acc

Yes, my 2015 USA 435i starting getting this code back in October 2018, 55k miles.
My car is with BMW now and they are working with the extended warranty providers on getting this fixed.

From the few threads and PMs I have been having some forums members, these things just go bad. One forum member had theirs start acting up at only 7000 miles!
