Yeah do some networking. You can sometimes find a cool SA in local automotive FB groups or by using the regional forums here.

What do you mean charge pipe was blown off? Like physically blown off while driving? Can this happen on Stage 1 with 435i OEM equipment and if so what can be done to prevent this? Sorry about noob questions, still pretty new to the tuning world.

Thanks!
Yeah, they told me after the fact that the tune isn't for our car. But the fact it's in the OTS list after the car has been read seems pretty confusing. All the other tunes are specifically for N55 EWG except the Stage 0+.

Whilst driving, under full throttle in second gear the car shifted back to first and instantly the stock charge pipe blew off. The T-MAP sensor plug was ejected from the pipe completely, the top lip blew off a section and the c clip came off the top. Stage 1 will most likely do this as well.

Solution: Buy an aftermarket charge pipe and change it before you do the flash.

The M2 tune should have a max of 14 psi at standard density altitude conditions. The N55 M2 comes with the same charge pipe as every other 2014+ EWG N55 F2x and F3x N55. You guys are overthinking this. If your N55 is 3 or less years old, you should be fine. Older, higher mileage cars might be at risk.

This tune is really nice. The car actually throws you back into your seat when you accelerate. The acceleration is more linear. Has anyone tested this on a dyno?

So to clarify, is the Stage 0+ M2 tune the actual OEM calibration in terms of being linear and power delivery, or is it just a tune that will achieve M2 power output figures?

My application is going to be HPDEs/track and I'd like to have a tune focused on a more linear power delivery. I'm sure if you're roll racing or drag racing your car, linear power delivery doesn't matter as much as peak output.

Thanks for sharing this one!

Seems like there's a small gain using the m2 map vs bm3 stage 1.

I have been testing out their stage 2 h 93 octane tune on my 335i and I am going to say the power delivery is excellent. I plan to use it in the spring at the track.

The Stage 0+ M2 calibration shows a different ROM than all the other OTS/Stock calibrations I have on my account so I am guessing it's the M2 ECU flash not a home grown version.

Yes, I've been running it on my stock 335i for like 2 months now. The charge pipe is still fine but I am going to swap that and a VRSF IC this weekend.
