Sounds bloody fantastic mate

I'd be laughing non-stop driving that in sport mode, what a transformation it is.

Just listened to the video and half on me wants one. The other half of me thinks that it sounds like a boy-racer with a souped up Corsa. Hmmm.

I used to have quite loud motorbikes - a race tuned RD400 Yamaha was the best.

But the video cracks and bangs in sports mode didn't do it for me. I'll put it down to me getting old.

Superb car and engine mind.

Finally this is probably the best video I’ve found to highlight the MPPSK Comfort vs Sport Mode sound differences.

https://video.citnow.com/vp3rq99sm4P
To my ears yrs sounds better than black demo car [rattly raspy in comfort] although both sound much better in sport mode...

Yrs also sounds better than Akrapovic's B58 offering...

This is worrying we've not heard anything. What has she done to him?

In coroners court who they gonna blame, BMW for making it, or F30post forum members for talking him into buying it?

Thanks, but to be honest it's really difficult to capture both the tone and the volume with an iPhone. I've listened back to it and it's only partially representative.

When I get time I will use my GoPro and external mic and have a better go. It's a good setup that has served me well so far.

Ha ha! The car is at the Detailers (and has been since Saturday morning) so she's not seen - or heard! - it. In fact she has only heard it once, when I drove off on Sat morning to said Detailers. She did say:

"oh I heard you leaving, your car's loud!".

Obviously I replied "Well it's over 1200 miles now so it's become louder". Her response was an un-interested stare.

Wonderful news and the video was the icing on the cake... I can just hear Scott Smith saying "Let's get a little rev-time with Grant!" now

Excellent news! When are you having it fitted?

Deans894 is collecting his MPPSK 440i today, so look forwarding to hearing his thoughts.

I was finally back behind the wheel for the daily commute today. Honestly, the car is laugh-out-loud hilarious in Sport mode (when you want it to be). It's massively increased my enjoyment of the car.

That artillery barrage on lift off.......

So is this the kit or just the exhaust?

The kit.

The details and RRP I have from my local dealer (who I didn't use!!!) are as follows:

MPE = M-Performance Exhaust (back box)
with chrome tips £1104
with carbon tips £1339
and is £52 in labour to fit

MPPSK = M-Performance Power and Sound Kit (cat-back exhaust and remap)
£2829 with the chrome tips
£3064 with the carbon tips
and is £156 to fit

Which shows what a good deal the £1999 for MPPSK with choice of tips is from Cooper BMW!
