Boost pressure OBD READER (BIMMERLINK)
Hey guys! So I connect my OBDII to my car and load up BIMMERLINK, my boost pressure is always 14 psi even at idle.... I try other apps and they read the same. My digital vent gauge is the only gauge when plugged in reads a vacuum and boost pressure which I think is accurate. Has anyone dealt with these readers. Plus you can’t even read oil temp...

14 psi is atmospheric (ie, always present).
Just subtract 14 from whatever the number is when you're driving and on boost.

I use OBDFusion if I want a real-time dashboard on my phone whilst driving, and/or want to do data logging.
Boost pressure displays as nominal (i.e. 0-1psi) at idle, and can even read as a negative value if the engine is in overrun i.e. engine braking. It is never displayed as 14psi at idle speed. Max boost for the 30d is typically displayed as ~24psi.

I've just updated the BimmerLink app and now it shows boost as nominal value.
Give it a try and see if it works. Coincidentally, my BimmerCode app updated as well.
