Feedback on Lakeshore Wheel and Tire

I saw today that they have 19" new M5 replicas on sale for the E90. They also sell a set of staggered as well. The standard set is 19X8.5 w/ 38 offset, the staggered set is 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 w/ 38 front and 40 rear offset.

With Goodyear F1's (235/35/19) the total price w/ shipping is $1799. Too good of deal to pass up but could I get some feedback on people's experiences with LWT and feedback on the quality of the rims , etc. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with LTW, but I wanted to say in general that you get what you pay for. When you were shopping for your bmw, I'm sure you knew there were cars that cost less, for a reason...same with rims. If you know there are rims that cost more than $1799 WITHOUT tires, that's got to make you wonder about why the price is the way it is for the set your considering. You have a nice car, why not put nice wheels on it? Like buying your bmw and putting kragen wheels on IMHO.

You make a good point thus my question about the quality, etc. While I do agree in general, sometimes you do get the same means for a fraction of the price. Example: Target's generic advil does just a good a job at killing my headache as the "real" advil for 1/2 the price. While I would love to be able to go all out and spend $4500 on Style 199's and tires, or likely the same cost on real M5 wheels and tires reality tells me no. So, if I can get 95% close to the real thing for 1/2 the price, then to me that's a chance worth taking. But if the quality is garbage then the lower price means nothing, and I move on.

You might want to send a PM to 'icedragon' he bought those rims from LWT...he'd probably be able to give you feed back on the quality of the rim. Hope that helps.
