M2 parts ahead of market release?

I am wondering if parts for a new model ever appear before the car goes on sale. Specifically I want to get my hands on the mirrors shown on the M2 for my 235.

There haven't been any new mirrors shown on the M2 yet, and no, I don't think an automotive company would ever do that

Have a look an the M3 mirrors, they will probably be the same

That's my guess. I've already seen an F30 328i with F80 M3 mirrors installed. They probably bolt right on.

Oh damn you are correct. I thought I saw them on a few test mules but it seems I was just recalling the renderings done by various magazines.

Fingers crossed they maintain the styling of the M3/M4 mirrors.
