The second long press disables the motion sensors, but car is still alarmed.
I always find, even after doing the second long press, that the alarm always shows that it was triggered when returning to the car on the ferry. D.

It use to be on old Vdub's that two deadlocked the car ... not any more, deadlock if just one signal press, which is great if you don't want the missus getting out of the car |

Lock the car then lock again within 10 secs (might need to be a double click on the key fob), but you should notice the interior LED does an extra long flash to indicate the interior sensor is off

Maybe it's me or maybe my car has a problem, but I can rarely get this to work even after trying it several times - the indicator light never flashes. Next time the car goes in I must get someone to try it and see if they have better luck.
