Jus, it is the same as the MX5 underneath as it's a shared platform, though each will offer their own engine range. The Fiat is a bit longer as has longer overhangs.
Nick, nope too lacking in grunt for our liking. If I keep the 335d as my work car, then we will replace her mini with something petrol with at least 6 cylinders if not indeed 8. Then I can have a more track focussed car as well, in which case I may look at a Mk3 Mx5 and add a supercharger. Though I must add, I think I prefer the looks of this to the MX5 myself, it's quite classy looking compared to the MX5 to my eyes.
