Selling my 15 M4

I put it on Craigslist. Should someone be interested here please communicate with me via my post on CL or 6speedonline. I don't login here often, but my contact info is on CL. I would trade for other cars too. I don't have anything particular in mind, just putting it out there.

$76k seems like a really high price to me. Not interested personally just free advice. FWIW.

That's what I thought, just piggybacking on what F83 said. I have almost the same car except no full leather, but drivers assist aides. I bought my car brand new for $68,000. I got a hell of a deal, but you get the drift.

How did you get to 91k without CCBs?

Appreciate the feedback. What does the market set this at? This is exactly why I posted here. Let me know . . .

I would assume $91k includes taxes as well as probably XPEL on the front clip and 1 or 2 bmw perf parts as Seattle BMW does.

Mine was only slightly discounted from Bellevue and I got all features but CCBs (even the rear sunshade, full leather, all packages), and it was a few thousand under 80k.

I would think this car NEW without XPEL or any BMW Perf parts or the coilovers, most people should be in the $76k range (I don't think this car has ALL options and packages).

Given at least 10% less than retail lets just say $68k and then plus the suspension which should be worth from zero to maybe 50% (parts only), I'd say $70k would be the top dollar.

I truly think this is more like a $66-69k sale but thats just a total guess. The red interior doesn't sell as well as black but it might also attract that one buyer who wants to be different.
Here is a blue/black one at a dealer (which helps with financing) looks fairly loaded except extended leather and is $65k (with 16k miles)
http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/ctd/5475413005.html

My guesses are based on the car having every option except CCBs and nothing else of resale value except the coilovers.

This is my guess on the RETAIL value of a fairly stock 2015 BMW M4 DCT with all options except CCB.

1 year old
68000

2 years old
60000

3 years old
53000

4 years old
47000

5 years old
42000

6 years old
38000

7 years old
33000

8 years old
29000

9 years old
26000

10 years old
23000

11 years old
20000

12 years old
18000

This is a total guess and based on 10-12k miles a year, no accidents and a good color combo (and all packages/options except ccb)

Okay. Sounds good. 91k included taxes. I have no idea what the pre-tax cost was. I'll have to look at the documents. I am not looking to recoup any cost out of the suspension components. Maybe someone will offer a fun trade.

You forum folks always have great perspective.

I think you paid about $83750. That is the MSRP with destination for all features except: CCB, concierge, and USB/iPhone adapter. You can't really count tax as part of the value. That would be like counting all the fuel you put in as part of the value.

Also, the numbers assume a clear carfax and no accidents... not even hitting a curb.

My guess is right around schnazzy price. Maybe closer to mid 60s if you want to sell it quicker. Good luck with the sale OP.

+1
Sounds like he walked into the dealer and bought the car without shopping around or asking for any extras. (typical Seattle BMW buyer)

BMW NW has one that has been sitting around on their lot with similar options and less miles and doesn't look like a smurf (just kidding) for the same price.

Like you indicated above, dealer will most likely help with financing, trade in and etc.

If someone wants to buy a car with this color combination and no stories, I think price should be around 65-70K.

I would personally not want a modified car and the suspension it has is actually would be a reason for me to walk away.....but that is just me

And of course the new buyer will have to pay close to 10% tax on it so OPs reference to how much he paid out the door is quite irrelevant.

Its just car, you'd like I was human trafficking with this amount of emotion and cynicism. My phone number is on the CL add if you'd like to discuss trades.

Alex, that's my car although it was in an accident, it drives like it never was in one.

If anyone here buys my old car, PM me if you are the owner or know the owner...

I assume the dealer knows and that is why the car is priced at 62.5k instead of 67k.

They gave me a hard time about it when I traded it in...
