New To Me 2012 328i 6MT
Just figured I'd make a post and say hello, and see if anyone had any quick mod suggestions as I'm just starting out with the f30. Used to own a e90 335i, still getting used to the power drop but overall she's a beautiful car.
Currently looking at some gloss black grills to start ... then it's all down hill from there for my wallet lol. 2012 328i 6MT Luxury Line. |

Wow.. Rare.. A red Luxury Manual!
Way to go! Congrats on getting such a good deal and avoid the depreciation. Is the power drop that significant??? Is the E90 modified or tuned? My suggestions: - lower suspension - headlamps upgrade to xenon - spacers or new wheels/tire pack Keep us posted. |

The new engine is definitely fun, especially in stick. That being said, the 335 definitely had quicker response. It just had DCI and was stock other than that. I had a question about the suspension, can I go regular springs? I noticed this car seems to sit higher than a normal 3 series, is the suspension any different ? I need to do research I suppose. Probably won't go coils as I don't plan on tracking it. Was also debating spacers and getting the wheels redone in a metallic grey, but need to think on it And thank you ! |

I have springs only and spacers and that gives a much better look to the car, how it should have been in the first place.
The mods i have make the car better, IMO. |

Just adding onto the thread...
Did gloss black m3 grills, wrapped the mirrors (probably going to switch to gloss black vinyl once it gets here.. Window trim too.. ) and did a quick m-tech rear bumper mod + badge w/ dip. Also need to work on getting rid of the luxury chrome up front since it wont fit in once I do the windows... I'm thinking springs next and wheels of some sort...the mod bug Plus a bonus shot of the "beast" ;-) Who's perfectly fine just how she came. |

I'll need to do a photo shoot of the X5 M soon for sure...
So today I tackled one side of the trim vinyl - holy hell it is aggravating - I think for today I'll drive with only one side done, I'll just need to make sure everyone only sees one side of me haha. I think I may do the wheels in anthracite grey and glossifier plastidip until I pull the trigger on a different set of wheels.... That would be a nice combo I imagine Turned out nice I think though! |
