Decided to document my journey with this vehicle since I like to be organized now and thought it would be cool to share it with everyone. First, a few of my past bimmers 1990 AW 325i Sedan 2003 CB M3 Coupe 2008 AW M3 Sedan I decided to sell my M3 Sedan even though I loved it. I have a two year old and also wanted to take the car on roadtrips, since my wife can't drive stick, I decided to keep an eye out on the only car in my price range that could replace my M3, an M-Sport 328d wagon. Getting this car in Estoril Blue is the cherry on top, I've always wanted a bimmer in this color ever since I saw my friend's E36 M3 back in the days. Here it is! After much search, found one on the forums, it was in Arizona and I had it shipped out here.. can't wait to work on it! Last edited by Johnny250; 08-11-2020 at 03:26 PM.. |

Nice story - my favourite colour is Estoril Blue on the E36.... lived in the U.K. And the euro LCI lights really finished the cars look.
Love the EBII Wagons. My car was a NV car before! What mods are you planning? I put the black chrome tailpipe tips on mine - although I noticed some pitting on them! Congrats!

Hey everyone, just a quick update. Couldn't pass up the deal for the M-Performance brakes from Jason@Tischer so I decided to pull the trigger. Brought the car to Minicorsa to get it installed and coded.
-BMW Performance Yellow Front and Rear BBK: Link -Add-on Rear Rotors: Link Kinda bummed I didn't take a pic of all the parts laid out, I was lazy... The shop: Minicorsa Brakes on! Now I gotta try to bed it in correctly.. been stopping hard whenever there is no one behind me. Last edited by Johnny250; 05-15-2017 at 11:03 AM.. |

Next up, M-Performance tips, these had to be ordered in Europe since it wasn't available here in the U.S. Good ol' ebay coming through.
Note: the tips didn't fit the factory 328d exhaust exactly, tips had to extended a few inches due to them originally meant for a 320d. Product number is 18302296889 Shiny! The Shop: Supertuning End Result |

Finally dropped!
After a long and stressful transaction with THMotorsports (please don't shop with them). I ended up with two sets of coilovers (one is for sale HERE.) Long story short, they fed me lies for about a week and a half about shipping, I cancelled cause it took too long and realized they were bs'ing about shipping, opened a paypal case to get my refund back, and ended up getting the coilovers 3 days after my paypal case was opened.. the SAME DAY my vivid racing order came in, great. - KW V1's for the F31 with no EDC: Link Had Alex@Alpine code out my EDC, now everything is factory. Had the install done at Minicorsa again, flawless work, thank you Dan! The Shop: Few Pics: Waiting for Alex to arrive and code my car Last edited by Johnny250; 05-15-2017 at 11:02 AM.. |

Keep up the great build...I miss my wagon; originally purchased it for the same reasons as you. Now that my kids are a bit older, the wagon was traded in for a sedan so that I could track.

MY WHEELS ARE HERE!!
Ordered these Advan Racing wheels mid March, they got here surprisingly fast.. if anyone of you had to order JDM parts before, you'd know that sometimes special orders take a long time. Before I got into BMW's, I had a few JDM cars.. (Eclipse, IS250, IS300, ITR) so I kept my love for JDM wheels as I moved onto BMW's. After I did some research, I decided to go with the following specs: 18x8.5 +35 18x9.5 +35 Buy Here: Link I chose the Advan RS-DFs since they are a brand new wheel, forged, and has the concave one piece look I was looking for. I was more than stoked to finally make my BMW stand out with a non-mesh wheel (no offense to anyone that has mesh wheels, I love them too). I also got some other parts to go along with the wheels, they are listed below: -Apex 75mm Stud Conversion kit: Link -Project Kics R40 Iconix Lugnuts: Link -Advan Racing Black Flat Centercaps: Link Pics! So ready Mounted! Don't mind my wife's shoes Studs on Iphone Shoot Fitment Views |

Nice looking F31, what size tires did you go with for the new wheels? The black wheels look nice with the Estoril Blue.
The M-Performance brakes are probably one of the last things I want to do to my car, I have a Dinantronics Sport tune on mine now and I do find that I could use a little more stopping power. I have thought about just swapping the front brakes to stock 335i Brembo to just take the cheap route. With the pricing on the Yellow kit from that site, it isn't too bad at all though.
