Do you tip your HPDE ride along coach
Doing my first HPDE event and I wasn't sure of the etiquette for tipping your ride along coach. I tip for most everything and this seems like one of those things.
I wasn't sure how it all works. If part of my payment for the event went to the coach or they get a discount for the event. What the normal tip rate was if any. Would love to feel comfortable with what is expected. Thanks for any help for this Newby. |

Coaches generally get into the HPDE for free
As their payment. I haven't heard of anyone tipping coaches before in my area. I am interested in what others say. |

I belong to the local Audi and BMW chapters have never seen or heard of a student tipping their coach. Now a "for-profit" organization might be a little different.

No. Instructors are generally volunteers and are "compensated" with free track time even in the "for profit" outfits.
