Another will it fit thread - 18" squared setup on F32
Hi all - I'm planning to do a square setup on my F32 with Apex Arc-8 18x9 ET42 all around, but I'd really love to get the concave face with 18x9 ET30 in the rear. Will this setup require camber adjustments if I don't want any poke?
Going with ET30 will extend 23mm from stock 442Ms, instead of just 11mm with ET42. Thanks! |

23mm poke from oem is equivalent to putting a 23mm spacer. just get a ruler and see where the line for a little under an inch is from the outer edge of where your rear lip is now.
if you look at the 513m on the car in the link below, the outer edge of his rear lip is about 3mm more than where your rear lip will be. you could probably even get away with 18x9+30 up front, tbh. little poke there as well and similar to the 513m on the front of the car in the link http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1427977 |

Thanks for the info and link! The thing is, this is also going to be a daily + track setup, so if only I could find anyone who's run 9" ET30 without any issue....

What's your driver for 18x9 over 18x8.5? Tire size?
For street track setup run 18x8.5 et35 with 245 or 255 tires. The 18x9 et42 has strut clearance issues in the front depending on how thick the rim band is on the tires and may need +5mm in spacers (I do with 245 PSS). The 18x9 et30 has arguably too much poke for the street and way too much on the the track given the amount of compression travel required as well as tire movement. |

jww///95 Well... mostly aesthetics to be honest - I really like the concave look. I also found the strut clearance issue with 18x9 in front searching around the forum, so I was hoping 18x9 ET30 with some minor camber from say MPS would work. It seems to be more complicated than that

I'll stand by my recommendation that for a street/track setup it's unwise to push the envelope for fitment cosmetics. |

arc-8 are very light however in offsets that fit F3_ best, the profile is face1(basically flat). in general, high offset equals less concavity however there are some brands/face designs that have some concavity even with high offset. any chance of considering a different wheel/brand altogether?
apex's new sm-10 18x8.5 +35 face2, (18.4lbs) forgestar F14 18x9(or8.5) semi concave, (18x8.5 is 18.5 lbs.) sportline 8S, 18x8.5 +32 (20.2lbs) front, 18x8.5 +45 (19.6lbs) semi deep rear. same width with different offset for front and rear. tsw bathurst, 18x8.5 +35 (19lbs) semi concave there are more and i'll edit as i find but if you're set on arc-8s that's cool. |

jww///95 alohasurftoad Thanks guys for your help! I agree with not making these compromises at this point and have chosen sm-10s 18x8.5 ET35 from the list and some research. Fingers crossed that they look ok on the f32.
Thanks again! |

hope your going to use some good (also light) tires such as michelin PS4S, MPSS, Conti ECS. cutting 10-12 lbs each corner is noticeable for acceleration/braking/handling |

Another will it fit thread - 18" squared setup on F32
255 is the largest recommended for 8.5 wheels so it should work as alohasurftoad pointed out, but it also depends on your supension setup. I was looking into coilovers and didn't want a relatively new set of tires to be an issue.
