Wouldn't surprise me. BMW has invested heavily in CF, and CLAR platform allows for integration of CF into a lot of different areas of the car. If this is the case then good on BMW, maybe they're working on all of the shortcomings the F30 had with respect to it actually being a 'premium' car.

My Spanish isn?t great but just playing amateur detective, they have camo all over the car except the pretty exciting new CF roof? Why would they do that?

Me too. I get extra excited about these things now thinking they might be the last real cars we can buy. We?re into what 2025 before the next all new 3 will be out? Chances are then it wonâ€™t be gasoline powered and may have a joystick instead of a wheel.

No, the stickers ontop of the roof. The roof itself does seem to have a CF pattern.

The "M" purists are going to be really bent over this. Namely the F87 gang, I don't blame them, though...

On another note, I think this will be my next DD, MT or not

Nothing but great experiences with our m-lite 235, on track and on the road, it's the best "fun car" I've ever owned!

Why? The G8X will still likely be lighter, stiffer, have a better suspension, be quicker, faster, and more nimble than even the M340i. Besides, I doubt it will get a CF roof simply because of the price and because people want moonroofs. They might instead have a CFRF roof, which is on my current i3 and looks much much different than the CF roof on my M3. I'm guessing it's cheaper and almost as light.
