It's part of what comes with bootmod3, and I assume MHD when they release their F series flash in December.

My M Sport 335 can and does surpass 155 mph. I think I bounced the speedo at 160 and the car was still going when I let off at 165 on the HUD

It can if it wasn't limited to 135 at the factory. That's done when the car doesn't come equipped with tires rated for more than 135. Per Shawn Sheridan:
If DME has more than 10 hours on it, you cannot remove VMAX via Coding.
Adding S840A High speed synchronisation and coding DME won't do anything either.
We tried everything, and got no where.

Well the previous owner used to track the car so idk. All I know is it will do 170 if I have the space. Easily.

Again, if you want to remove the limiter, you need a DME flash like bootmod3. There are other bench flashes (like the one from Eurocharged https://www.eurocharged.com/products...-series-en/f3x) that do the same, but the only way to do it currently is to flash the DME (meaning you need to pull the DME).

The highest speed I've seen flash across my HUD after bootmod3 was 164MPH, so I know there's no 155MPH limit anymore (as advertised).

I seem to remember this option to remove when I ordered my car on the build sheet.

Is it listed as an option in a VIN Decoder, such as where they decode no dazzle high beam and variable light distribution?

You're way behind the times. The 55 MPH speed limit was rescinded years ago, and most Interstate Highway speed limits are 65 MPH in urban areas and 70-75 outside of urban areas. In Texas there are several highways and toll roads with 80 MPH speed limits and one with an 85 MPH limit (through rural countryside). Many US highways (not Interstates) and State and County roads have 70 MPH limits in non-urban areas.

That said, I'd certainly hate to have a tire failure at 160 MPH on ANY road. Maybe an old airport runway or a closed track would be one way to avoid causing a serious accident involving other vehicles.

hi, I have a 2017 320i Sport GP, in my country a flex car, with stage 1 remap, and filter, with the ECU programming the speed limiter was removed, it was at 245 km/h, now it passes 260 easy.
