Good interior cleaners

What are some of the better interior cleaners that can be used on non leather interior trim, interior plastic, dash, etc. I like clean, no greasy feeling, no build up, no shine - basically something that maintains that new OEM BMW look. Please provide some comments and your experience with various products rather than just name a product. Thanks in advance.

get some of these and you'll be set.

it's not shiny and greasy at all. Use a microfibre towel for applying it then use a clean dry towel to wipe it dry. the plastic and vinyl and they will stay new and clean for long time.

In the process of buying the “right stuff” for my soon to arrive vehicle (off the West Coast of Africa on the 'Toronto" at present), I asked the guy for advice and he said the Aerospace 303 was very good and was happy to sell me the stuff however he also recommended Z1 Cockpit Premium. Its allegedly specially formulated for European style trim treated with “soft-look paint”. I’ve tried it on my wife’s Lexus and it comes up very tidy – allegedly also has UV protection and does not have any hint of a greasy or shiny finish. Check out http://www.1z-usa.com/ or http://www.einszett.com/ Apparently it also works on exterior hard vinyl surfaces as does the Gummi Pflege Stift 'Rubber Care Stick'. Good luck.

Thanks. Product information at the web site seems to indicate this product is only a protector/conditioner, not really a cleaner. I suppose as long as the only "dirt" is light dust an application of about anything will act as a cleaner as well. Comments from your use?

I've used 303 as a cleaner for years. It's great. It will leave spots (easily removed with more 303) if you don't apply it smoothly. You can go for a "gloss" look by soaking a microfiber cloth with sprays and wiping everything, or go matte by buffing it dry.

Recommend it 100%.

i used it as a cleaner as well and no problem. Took a dirty old car vinyl that's turning grey to dark black without problem.

What i do is spray into a mf towel and wipe the desire place. Then i get a clean mf towel and wipe over it until it has a matte look. Do the same to your engine to keep it clean.

I 've usse Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner (creative name!) for years--great stuff. Get the quart size and their "finest sprayer". You can get it by the gallon and refill, too.

I met Richard Griot at Pacific Raceways. From the cars he has, I think he has a lot of people's money.

I do like a lot of their products, and I like being able to get the gallon size of stuff I use a lot and refill.

I do enjoy a few of their products. Haven't gotten into much of their detailing chemicals as I am a Zaino whore.

What I don't like about Griots is that they rebadge products as their own and charge and arm and a leg more. For detailing products, I'm sticking with Chemical Guys.

I am trying to decide between 1z cockpit and the chemical guys offerings. Does anyone have experience with both? Chemical guys offers 2 different levels of shine. Matt and silk. I can't stand the BO odor of the 303 stuff.
Thoughts?

go with a bottle of this--Meguiars #40 Vinyl & Rubber Conditioner. if you want the interior to look new but not greasy. The groits stuff is a good cleaner but leaves stuff looking dry. This is the best stuff on earth. That and lexol for the leather are all you need.

one more vote for Einszett Cockpit Premium, and another for Griots interior cleaner. Both are excellent cleaners without odor an leave no "finish".

I use the Griot's. It has little odor and cleans well, but does not apply a "finish", as you say.

Definitely a fan of Lexol pH for interior cleaning. I also use it for the dash and center console. A small amount on a damp MF cloth does an excellent job. I used to use Griot's interior cleaner, and like this much more.

I've used and like the Griot's conditioner, but think I'll try the Lexol nf (neatsfoot oil) next, since I like the cleaner so much.

I just treated the interior trim (Sycamore Anthracite Wood Trim) with carnuba wax. Yeah, exterior paint wax. I wanted to see if it made the trim look any better. I don't think it made much of a difference, but it sure smells nice.

for the leather if its in good shape and you need to just maintain it

Einszett Leathercare (matte finish)
all in one cleaner conditioner

for the plastics and anything not leather go with
Einszett Cockpit (matte finish)

if you require more work or want more for the leather.

go with leather master rapid s and finish with leather master vital or protection cream
