BMW 330E tuning?

Hey guys.
I am just getting the car and have been looking at some tuning options.
Maybe some of you guys have done some to it and might want to share the information.

Have not done any tuning on a 330e but know that OBD tunes like BootMod3 are generally a better starting point for someone just getting into mods compared to something like the JB4.

Given the lackluster acceleration of a 330e, most do not purchase that model with thoughts of a tune.

I have done a stage 1 remap on my 2016 330e. With dyno figures. Crazy power. 340's, golf R's S3's none of them stand a chance.

Wow, amazing! Could you provide some information on how/what you used?
Thanks!

What boost pressure are you running since the remap?

I'm getting mine remapped in the new year. Was hoping for 330-340 and an additional 100 ft/lb of torque. Looks conservative compared to your numbers!

I used the company SA Tuning, they did all the coding and what was required, everything else is stock in the car, not too sure what else his done lol. I’ve previously used them for my 320d. Also I have always used 99 Octane V-Power from shell which you can see a small performance gain. Check their website out very good service from there and trustworthy.

I believe the boost pressure is still the same and unchanged. I’m not an expert in this field so don’t no too much. But the turbo is crazy loud and screams in tunnels lol.

Have you done your remap now? What figures did you get? The car is naturally going to have fast acceleration due to the electric motor aiding.

Why do you say that? Wouldn't the OP have to remove the engine to test HP at the crank? Isn't this WHP?

Most in EU do not use WHP, as you know.

Interesting! How is it 284HP/452NM for a stock car when it is rated at 248HP/310NM?
Definitely doesn't seem like WHP.

Hi Logan. I got my f30 330e mapped aswell. Similar gains to yours. Done it in amd tuning Essex. I’ve got similar gains to yours. Have the dyno run stats too. I spoke to another 330e owner and he told me the boost maybe too much. I wanted to see if you have had any issues with your car. Send me a message on insta if you have it. It’s the same username as my bimmerpost username. If not reply here. The speed is rapid
