What's happened to UK service pack?

I was offered a BMW service pack for £399 which I said I would think about but checking what's included it is only the first 2 services in a 3 year or 36,000 mile period and brake fluid change is not included

On the BMW app it is showing my next service is due in 19,000 miles or 23 months and 2nd service in 37,000 miles or 47 months so I would only get 1 service out of the pack anyway or am I missing something?

On my previous X5 it was £400 for 5 years/60k miles and I managed to get 3 services and 2 brake fluid changes out of it

Thanks

This is how the service packs are going these days.
They know that unless you do 15k+ miles a year you aren't going to get more than 1 service out of the 3 year service pack.

My late 2016 340i was one of the last to get the 5 year service pack i think, by the time they were doing "17" plates the service pack was down to the 3 year offering IIRC. Hence i didn't bother with my pair of M240i's.

As above ... I got the same service pack thrown in to my deal but it’s the same as my previous Audi one... I do 18-20k a year so I’ll get the two services .. in theory ... if you do low mileage th pack isn’t worth it

yeah I enquired where I got mine (previous x3 had 5 year pack bundled in as standard)

BMW just getting greedy, the new X3 maintenance/service packs are pointless. Better off taking it to an independent come service time.

Thanks for replies to all of you, what baffled me is the pack will have expired before the inspection service shown on app is due whether you do high miles or not as it is past the 36k mile limit, but I've looked into it further and apparently there is a 2nd oil change that it covers that won't show up until 1st one is carried out, the inspection service is specifically excluded from the pack
