Wheel and Tire Protection (Paid too Much?)
So my new car came with 718M 21" wheels and they sold me WTP for $2600. Am I paying too much I'm still within 30D full refund period. If it was $1300 I would just keep it.
My reasoning:

I want to say that it is good for 5 years and I purchased the wheel and tire package (along with aesthetic scratches/rubs on the wheels) for $1595 I think.. I will have to check when I get home.
But I also have 19'' wheels with the crappy AST. |

I got 9k off MSRP without qualifying for rebate though, but those 21" cost like $1 per 10 miles, almost as much as gasoline per mile. |

I only have 19" wheels as well, paid about $1k for 60 months T&W protection. It was technically $1,330 but I got the premier paint protection (auto butler) 'thrown in' which had a price of $365. I forget what their list price was for it when they first provided the documentation - obviously I didn't pay whatever it was.
I do remember my finance guy saying the 21" were significantly more expensive, just didn't catch how much. |

Gotcha, the Adaptive M was what I wanted but didn't get... but I got the Exec, Driving Asst +, Rear Manual + Heated rear seats. 21'' are too big for the Northeast and pot holes...

there has been enough rain since I took delivery in march that I feel very confident in my decision to go with the 19" and the crappy ASTs

I think they overcharged you for sure, I have the 21's. Mine was $1,500 CAD for wheel and tire protection. Doesn't cover cosmetic scratches or curbing, but if we get a flat or box a wheel it's covered.

My plan is $2600 without cosmetic or curb bashing, and there is a $50 dedutable per incident. They originally offered me $3150 for the plan. I probably did over paid about $1000. |
