Fifth Gear is back on Quest with Tiff, Plato and Vicky etc.....

Ok, not quite the following as Top Gear, but at least its another car show to watch.

Some good cars coming up on there .... M2 ..... and mine.

I enjoy Fifth Gear and like the fact that they never tried to be Top Gear. I remember the episode of Tiff drifting a 435i one handed

Yes not bad. At least its a reasonably decent car show to watch, which are a bit scarce at the moment.

Good to see the old E60 M5.

So, should I swap my car for a Quadrifoglio...........................

No thanks ... I couldn't stand being without it for so long while its being fixed at the dealers.

Wasn’t bad, even VBH was just about tolerable. M5 was defo right choice out of the 3.

Impreza bloke was a bit odd, and 40bhp from just fitting an fmic and doing nothing else, yeah mate

The 40bhp gain seemed to be from a static temperature difference measurement of 40 degrees which seemed odd to me, once the car is moving, and air was coming in the scoop, the air temperature coming through the face of the intercooler would have been the same, though you will have some heat from the engine, so I agree, the 40bhp doesn't sound right at all based on his assumptions. There would have been some gains due to the smaller temperature differences in the new location but also in the size of it.
Also, I would have expected some shielding around the new air intake, as now it would be taking in hot air from the engine bay??
