LED are brighter, whiter, and use less than half the current of the stock H8 halogen. Using 65w bulbs with wiring made to supply 35w stock bulbs could create a problem. I'd also be wary of bulbs claiming to be HID when they are not.

LEDs have to be coded, there's no getting around it. It's not just about throwing warnings, they will blink every minute or so if not coded. I coded all mine with E-Sys, but for now that option isn't available, so you'd need to use Carly or Bimmercode.
