7506 LED bulbs that actually work?

So far I've bought 3 different types of LED white bulbs that I wanted to use for reverse lights and brake lights.
1 set shows bulbs not working,
Next set was not canbus compliant, and the third set hyperflashes.

I just want something that works, that isn't junk!!

I didn't know you could do that, or had to.
I'm upstate so that's quite a drive. If I get down that way, I'll hit you up for sure. Thank you!

Contrary to advertising claims there's no such thing as plug and play LED for BMW. Coding is an absolute necessity.

oh if that's the case, you should buy a bluetooth OBD reader
and pay for the bimmercode app, will cost about $50 but
that'll take care of your problem instantly

PLUS you can do a few cool things with it

The first thing you'll want to code off is that stupid legal disclaimer that comes up on your iDrive screen every time you start the car. Having done that you'll want to kick yourself for not coding it out years ago.

You need BimmerCode from app store. And BimmerLink if you want to read and clear trouble codes.

Also a WiFi obd donlge (Vgate iCar 3).

Get it, trust us.

Lots of worthwhile coding can be done with BimmerCode.

Can you code off the chime that annoys you to put on your seat belt?

I would never think of driving without a belt. But in the last few days while my window tint sets, I've found myself having to climb out of my seat to wave my access card in front of the sensor so I can drive into my apartment complex. The only way to do that is to undo the belt, naturally, and since the gate does not stay open long, I have to put the car in gear right away and slide through the gate. Meanwhile, "bong . . . bong . . . bong . . ."

Can you silence that by coding, I wonder?

Yes, this should be possible through bimmercode as I have seen the options within

Remember, you can also use the search function in the forum for specifics

Any opinion on what are the best LEDs for this? There are the german name sounding ones for like $80 a pair.. tons on Amazon for much less, let alone the morass of Ebay.

Any suggestions for what is best and actually work BETTER? I have heard stories of LEDs being far less bright.

I used esys, I work at a college so I am constantly driving from one end to the other with no need for a seatbelt. I have it set to one "bong".

I assume you mean Weisslicht. They're Chinese with a German name and a silly price. You can find the same bulbs without the phony name or crazy price on Amazon.

I have these for my backup lights:

I hope you verified what you need for a brake light bulb. Mine does not use 1156/7506, it uses H21W.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Mine does use 1156/7506 for the rear turn signal.

*laugh* well I will double check now.. my other thought is this appear to be (maybe) the same bulbs in the tail of my E53 X5, so worst case I can use them there.

edit:

yup they are... will put a pair into the X5 with another set coming, and then the correct ones for my F32 brake lights. Thanks man!
