Question Coding Bimmercode to turn off PDC?

Is this possible? My front plate activates the beeping constantly in reverse and it's super annoying.
Just turning off the sound would be fine as well 😄

The sound level is adjusted just like the level with all sound sources. When it's active turn it down. It's in your manual.

I have the sound in the iDrive all the way down, it's still terrible to listen to constantly. It needs to be off, or completely disabled if possible.

Surely there is a way to make the car think it's not equipped with PDC right?

Why not fix ur license plate or whatever is getting in ur way. I retrofitted pdc, it's a nice option to have. Why jus turn it off n not fix the issue? Is it not possible? U can delete the option code from fa then vo code all the ecu's n no more pdc.

Okay thanks, I'll have to look into that.
The rear one I kinda get, but the front sensors just seem stupid. I can see where I'm going 😄

You can't see how close you are to objects that aren't visible through the windshield or side windows. That's the whole point behind PDC. How your front plate could possibly set off the PDC makes no sense to me.

Kies Motorsports did a video on a front plate holder that installed via the tow hook, but was positioned to not set off PDC. Might want to look into that if you wanna retain PDC.

Ah that's a much better mount than my BMS one. Thanks!

if you want to turn the front PDC off, might aswell VO code your car to have only 507 option (only rear PDC) rather than 508 (Complete PDC) option.

VO code three modules, ICM, REM, and HU.

Hope this helps.

Hello BMW Experts!

I coded my PDC beeps off on purpose, but also coded my front camera off by mistake while messin' around.
No beeps is fine, but I want to get back my front camera. As soon as I get esys working again....

Ok I'm new to this coding thing, my pdc front sensors keep malfunctioning and I want to just turn them off and keep my back ones working. I'm just tired of replacing them and clicking to turn off the warnings. It's a 2015 435 grand coupe. I have sides and back up camera also I would like to keep the cameras on. How do I code this out.
