Overheating a B48 320i LCI

Just a simple question,, a hose part# 17128616536 disintegrated and I lost all water , a low coolant level popped up and after 5min or so another one with "drive moderately to let engine cool down" popped,, so I switched to eco pro to lower the engine load ,, continued for another 10 min or so, and the engines oil was normal on the dash,, let it cool and after an hour started the engine and topped the fluid but found out that all the coolant fell on the ground , due to this tube broken,,
Went to the shop and they changed the tube and made A pressure test with no water leaks found,, and I drove the car and it's fine,, the mechanic told me to come back after a week he will make another compression test to make sure there is no other water leaks , and said there is no damages done to the engine,,
However I'm concerned if some damage could have sustained by engine, how would I know if any thing happened to the engine
PS: I have driven the car for approximately 10 to 15 minutes without any water whatsoever,

As long as the engine didn't overheat, and oil temp remained normal, you're fine.

I had this exact same fault while on holiday 350 miles from home. I managed to buy the part locally and fix it. Bleed the system and the car seems like it's running fine. But I'm now shit scared to drive it back home

I just pray for any after-market hose company to start considering manufacturing a complete coolants hose kit for the f30 and the g20 , like https://www.viperperformance.co.uk/ or https://samcosport.com/ it would save us alot of trouble

Drive it home. This happened to me in 2020 on my ‘18. I fixed it myself and drove it with no issues for another 8 months before I traded it in. Of course now BMW is covering repairs. Lol

Yeah I made it back home without issues. Hopefully it stays OK as I'm going to keep this car for another few years.
