Hi

Have many people had joy fitting OEM 437M wheels to an xdrive F31?

I was hoping to just use my current tyres but by the sounds of it, they will be a bit of a stretch 225/40 and 255/35

What would be the best tyre size to go with and will these wheels work alongside ACS springs?

My knowledge is very poor so any help is much appreciated!

There are people in the US that have put the standard f30 tyres on 437m's, but it's not recommended as it is a bit of a stretch. When I was looking for wheels for my xdrive F31, I really wanted 437m, but in the end decided not to risk it and got 442m.
Then a few months later I swapped to an sDrive F31 for other reasons, but decided to get the 437's I'd always wanted.

Best sizes for fitment are M2 sizes, 265/35/19 and 245/35/19, but they wouldn't be recommended with xDrive.

I've done it.. works fine and no problems.. have ACS springs too.

I got a lot of help off guys on here and took the plunge.

I've gone 235/40/19 at front and 265/35/19 at back.

Personally I wouldn't stretch the tyres, at the sizes I've gone everything is in the manufacturers guidelines..

It partly depends on whether you like the look of rims poking out beyond the wheel arches.

They do poke - I went to see a set of 437s, fitted the rears, and measured the rear rims with a spirit level across the tyre beads, and a steel tape : 15mm poke on each side. Personally I think it looks naff, but it's purely subjective.

As has been said, you'd need to select the correct tyre sizes for x-drive. www.tiresize.com has a useful calculator.

I agree they do poke..

Personally I like the aggressive cartoon look it gives... but can see how it's not to everyone's taste.
Doesn't look right without the side blades on or the lower suspension

sDrive and AC Schnitzer springs fitted.
Totally love them and so does everyone else,judging by the comments I get on my Instagram account.

Fronts are a little more stretched that id like tbh, im yet to lower mine but do have coil overs to go on.

FYI different tyres look and fit differently, check your tyre make to see if they can be legally fitted to a 9j & 10j rim.

Cheers guys. I was going to go 225/40, 255/35 but then I read somewhere that with the stretch people have been experiencing pressure loss in the winter??

I will probably just give it a whirl as I already have them tyres and take it from there.

xDrive - 235/40/19 & 265/35/19
sDrive - 245/35/19 & 265/35/19

I fitted them to mine ages ago (sDrive) everyone told me they wouldn't fit (they do) and now there are loads of people running them without issue.

They don't poke very much once the car is lowered - but with stock ride height they dont look the best in terms of fitment.

The tread block are very much under the arches, and I've never had any rubbing, even with the car fully loaded and on undulating country roads.

Hey guys, I got M2 437m wheels for my 335D X drive, Im little concerned if can use the tires which these came with 245 35 19 & 265 35 19, should I change front to 235 40 19?

I am running 437’s on my car and have been for a while.The car is lowered on ACS springs.
My tyres are 235/40/19 and 265/35/19 haven’t had any problems with rubbing

This might help regarding tyre sizing with X-Drive. Personally I'd go 235/40 front and 265/35 rear to stay within 1% for the X-Drive.

I'm running 255's up front and 275's on the rear with xDrive, no issues so far.

I’ve just bought a set of 437M alloys with 245/35 and 265/35 Michelin pilot sport tyres, also no problems with rubbing etc.

What tyre pressures are you guys running on these?

I'm running 36psi all round with those tyre sizes. Not saying that's best though, buy has worked well for me over the last 6 month

Looking for help with tire size, I’m debating picking up a set if 437m wheels this weekend for my f31. The tires on the wheels right now are 275/35 rear and 255/35 front. What size tires would I need to pick up to safely run 437m wheels. To add the car is lowered on kw coilovers.
