What a loan car !!!
Nice loan car from Sytner Coventry while my car is back for a polish- an i8 Roadster.
Awesome car but not sure I would pay £130k for one when there are so many other cars you could buy for that money. Sounds great in Sport mode and very quick.

What is it with you people getting 8 Series and i8 Roadster loan cars?? All I get is the lowest spec 1 Series known to man or more often the "we won't have a loan car for 3 months" routine

It is not an elegant exit I must admit - you sort of fall out of it

The 'best' loaner I've ever had was a 420d.

I've had a 4.20 d m sport convertible 1st time, not bad, but the second time I got a 2 series tourer, piece of shit. Wheels all curbed to bits and dents on the body, they wanted me to sign for the condition before seeing the car, it had no damage what so ever on the car sheet! So I said it's got no damage then?
Err no totally clean he says...I think. Let's have a look before I sign shall we?! I would not be complaining at an 8 series or i8 roadster. Sounds like a quality dealership, must be in a quiet leafy part of the country. |

In the good old days when i had an E30, whenever it went in i seemed to get a car i might buy next as my loaner. Now they have generally a fleet of similar cars you invariably wouldnt buy.
When my SQ5 went in for warranty work, they gave me an A5 diesel. If it had been a Q7 i might be writing a cheque for a new car now... (metaphorically obviously!) Last edited by isleaiw1; 06-22-2019 at 02:04 PM.. |

When my Macan went for service I had the choice of their standard loaner cars of a 2.0 Macan. Asked for something better and got a Cayman GTS.
