Will this wheel fit on F30 ?

Forgive the ignorance...

Looking at a set of steel wheels for occasional winter use.

What size winter tire would fit this wheel?

The size is:

16X6.5

The bolt pattern is:

5X120

Do you have upgraded brakes for your 2014 328i?

If not, I'd probably stick with 17s for winter since you know those will fit.

195/55R16 or 205/55R16 would fit on this wheel. As mentioned above, this won't fit if you have M-sport brakes. Not even all 17" wheels will fit. If you have regular brakes it will be fine, but 16" is pretty small for this car.

6,5j on F30 is definitely too narrow. Standard F30 16" dimensions are 7jx16 ET31 with 205/60 r16 tyres or 7,5jx16 ET37 with 225/55 r16 tyres

You can probably stick with 6,5j but some smaller ET or with some distance plates and for sure 205/60 r16 not 55 r16, it will result with a big gap between fender and tyre...

What is the ET of your wheels?

He asked if it would fit, not whether it would look good.

Thanks fellas... I can get a new set of these for $250 delivered. Going to see if I can find a set of 17 take offs for the same before I pull the trigger. No upgraded brakes on my 328i at this point. Looks definitely aren't a concern... just trying to get up to Tahoe safely. Last year got a bit hairy at times.

Whatever I end up with will literally be going on Friday after work and coming off before work on Monday. Pure safety measure since I don't have xDrive.

Haven't been able to locate a proven set of low profile chains to use with my lowered suspension and am scared to scratch my wheel arches with any old set. If anyone has recommendations on this front, please share.
