Shop recommendations
What's up guys? Can you recommend a good shop in MD, preferably in or around AA county? New to the area and still getting settled. Thanks!

Welcome! I'm on the other side of the river, but hopefully someone more local to you will respond. If you'll scroll down through the previous posts you'll see some similar to your request that might give you some ideas. Good luck!

Aktiv Automotive (g-burg) - Kevin Lucas-Owner 301 869-3200. Hands down the best I've come across. Very knowledgeable, fair on pricing and fast!

Aktiv always gets recommended but I've been quoted outrageous prices every time I've called, maybe the owner has to know you or something. I've had good luck with s2 dynamics in Rockville. Also heard good things and was well treated whenever I spoke to the guys over at fs tuning in Crofton, their services are limited but they are probably closer to you and might be able to recommend someone good in the area. |

Be sure to check out some of the National Capital Chapter's (BMW CCA) sponsor shops!

Thanks For the recommendations guys! I spoke to the folks at Induktion motor sports. Have any of you heard of them? I reached out to FS but never got a response. I'll definitely reach out to some of the shops listed above. Looking to have new charge pipes and an axle back installed.

I just got a quote from Induktion. 525 for lowering spring install and alignment. Not bad.

That's what I paid for coils/alignment last fall. See if you can get him to assign his master tech (Frank), that's what the M3 guys recommended. Another fella did my coils and I had a minor issue with the alignment, my steering wheel is just a hair off center. I was too lazy to go back and get the alignment done again.
