Are run flats worth it?

I was told by the sales person that once the run flats get punctured, thats it. Have to get new tires. Isn't that kinda expensive?

depends...in some cases you can patch the RFTs. And yes it can get kind of expensive, a lot of dealers and some posters here can attest to the value of the tire/wheel warranty because of this...and yes RFTs (at this time) is a compromised solution.

listen to my story then, i recently gave my car in for service and when i got it back, one of the tires had about 4 nails in them, so they replaced it free of charge...about 2 weeks later that same tire got another puncture. so i just patched it and its been working fine for a month and a half already.. BTW i have a 325i ZSP

If you replace the RFT´s remember a backup plan if you get flat tyre.
Or else you´re kinda stuck on the road side..
