Removing HVAC/climate control module?
Anyone have any luck removing this? I've found the following info...
CLICKY CLICKY ...but it doesn' seem to apply to the auto climate module that I have. In the same thread, there is this post... CLICKY CLICKY CLICKY ...which seems like it might apply to me, but I don't see any metal clips. Any ideas? |

It just pops out... You can remove or loosen up the wood/alum. trim on the center of the dash, then just pop the climate control module out from each side with a pry tool..

This is with iDrive i assume? It's a bit different without idrive as you can't easily grab it. But maybe it pops out just the same... it's just getting behind it that's the issue.
