I've been noticing a strange rattling sound from the iDrive 8.5 system so I guess I'll just live with it for now. Have you checked the fluid levels? That's usually the first sign of trouble.

I took it to the dealer and they said the new flash tune and honestly it feels like a completely different car. There's a massive DIY thread on this exact issue over in the DIY section.

Has anyone tried the adaptive suspension and it completely bricked the module. Does anyone have the part number for the upgraded version?
