I am just trying to gauge the amount of each vehicle that exist. With our new Stage 1 that is nearing completion and shipping they need to be setup for Logic7 and Standard. This is not a commitment to buy but if you are interested let me know.

It will be plug and play and be perfectly matched to the vehicle! Coupe/Vert release will follow shortly behind the Sedan/Wagon release.

So which audio system do you have?

It did, but for 2009 Logic 7 is now an option.

Thanks for completing the poll.

Rough pricing is 650 dollars ballpark. That will go up or down at release and depend on which audio system you have. L7 has more drivers so it will cost more. By how much I don't have the exact number.

We will replace all interior speakers minus the factory subwoofers. So all midbass/midrange drivers and all tweeters plus the center channel.

Will the factory subs be replaced with a future "stage 2" system? I'm guessing you'll have a 1->2 upgrade?

I really like BSW's approach to stereo upgrades, so I'm hoping there's no reason not to get the stage 1 when it's available.

At this point we are not going after replacing those directly. We found with our subwoofer upgrades and the Stage 1 that the factory subwoofer is playing a lot of midbass so those stay put.

With that being said you will never be stuck at any stage. If you get the Stage 1 you will be able to upgrade to our Stage 2 and add on.

Won't be a problem at all. We just received a batch of Stage 1's

is it going to sound better in terms of quality as a whole(i.e., more bass, clearer crisp sound) if you have logic 7? Or will this upgrade be the same improvement as for people with either standard audio or logic 7. If it's the same upgrade then if I knew about this I wouldn't of gotten the l7 option. I'm happy with it but wished that the treble would be cleaner.

That is the order of 'quality'. The end result will be better with the L7. That is not to say you will not realize a great result if you have standard. Each system is designed for the audio system it is replaces.

You can expect much cleaner mids/highs. Much more depth to the music and will be substantially richer and smoother.

I do not have the Logic 7 i have the 10 speaker Hi-Fi system which is standard on 09+ now. Also, in Canada we do not have an option for Logic 7 anymore only BMW Individual Sound System w/ Dirac Live (which only comes with the audiophile sound package). not sure how this system compares to the logic 7.

Well, well, well. Let us to know more about your offer. I really need to know how to find something to upgrade the front stage of my car. The oem audio system is one of the worst thing I've ever heard on a premium car. I usually work hard to get the best response from my midbass but in this case I have no place to put my Dyns and to set this speakers under the seat is an offense. I decided to modify the doors or if you have a solution please, let us to know.

My english is poor, sorry.

We will have a package for the 'standard' 10 speaker system! Will surpass that of the L7 systems from BMW! Our last test car was a 328xi Sport Wagon. With the uf110 subwoofer and the stage 1 it sounded AMAZING!

Good to hear. my moms X3 has the logic7 system and to be honest i am not really impressed by it. It will be nice to modify the hi-fi system to sound better than the logic7

Has she tuned it? Logic 7 is very unimpressive if you leave it at stock settings.

There are a few threads on how to tune it correctly (although the settings may be different for an X3 which has a more open environment).

A properly tuned Logic 7 is actually quite a good system. I am sure BSW will improve on that but its pretty good to start with. Much better then the old HK systems in the e46.
