Bm3 stage 1 boost increase

I just wanted to know how much the boost pressure is increase when going from stock to stage 1 on my 2014 335i xdrive n55. I know stock pressure is around 7psi

Can my stock turbos reliably handle stage 1 and stage 2 with supported mods(charge pipe, intake, downpipe, fmic ?

I want to say it was about 13 or 14psi if you're ewg (which you are). like 15 or so if your pwg.

yes, the turbos handle it just fine. the stock ewg turbo (you have just one, not two) max out at 20ish psi before falling off at high rpm. You're fine.

It's not recommended that you run stage 2 without the downpipe, intercooler, and charge pipe. That's the whole point of stages.

I am usually around 15 -16 psi full boost on Stage 1 BM3. Definitely looking to get a high flow DP soon and move up to stage 2 to see that increase too. I installed CP and IC before moving to stage 1 just to keep from parts failing hopefully.

Yeah, just get IC+CP before stage 1, then add the DP if you want to go stage 2.

Also, stock can be higher than 7. It's a load-based tune, so boost varies to meet load target. Ive seen over 9 in my logs and i think as high as 11.

Too late for me. I got my BM3 license for a bargain and considering I was coming from a 500whp car to the 335i the car felt sluggish so I was quick to reflash. Found out afterwards I should have address a few areas first.

I don't really get on it to be honest, at least not till I get the chargepipe, inlet and intercooler replaced. If anything stage 1 made it bearable for me to daily.

change the charge pipe now don't wait. it can and will blow on stock tune and part throttle... just saying. just remember, we told you so!

Checking through the paper work that came with the car, the charge pipe has been replaced once already
