Hi guys,

I have previosuly bought a 420d M Sport + F32, 4k Miles on clock.
I have realised on bad road surface its making a noise on both doors (worst at passenger door) like a vibration of a wire on a metal surface and same at armrest.

Any thoughts? I will take it back to the dealership as is under warranty.

For the armrest, good chance the parking brake cable has come loose due to a clip breaking.

I would start with this, it's possible that it could be just the one rattle echoing around. I'm not immediately aware of any common door rattle issues.

Door locks make a lot of noise rattling against the door panels because our bmws are made of plastic like a 1999 Saturn. Could be those.

That hasn’t happened with any of the BMWs I’ve owned.

I have vibration coming from my door locks as well. It gets so annoying on rough roads that I hold the lock down
