Radio Ready mode versus Ignition on with Comfort Access?
I have a 2009 E90 with Comfort Access. I'm very confused regarding the "Radio Ready" mode (which powers only the radio, essentially), and the ignition mode (which seems to power all accessories including the full navigation system, for example).
How do you engage one or the other with Comfort Access? Also, it seems for me that after driving the car with the Navigation system in use, when I park the car and then press the Start/Stop button to shut off the engine, the engine stops, but the navigation display remains active. The car does not seem to be in Radio Ready mode at that point, which shouldn't allow full access to the navigation portion of the iDrive system, should it? |

Hit the start button again without hitting the brake?

Push the start button without the foot on the brake for the radio ready mode. When you park, push the button again after the stop, and the navi and radio will turn off.
