BPM On Sirius !!

Did you guys notice the lineup change today on Sirius?

They seem to have consolidated the stations are got rid of the duplication..

I used to have XM on my G35 and am very happy to see some of my favorite stations playing in my E90 !!

Check out the following:

Dance/Techno
BPM 36 replacing The Beat

Best Dance music station period
Area 38 becoming Area which I think will be more geared towards live DJ's now

Hip Hop
The Heat 50 is awesome.. Not sure what it replaced

Reggae
The Joint 84 is way better than the Reggae channel that we had before\

Also the decades stations are cool, check out 90's on 9 and 80's on 8

I did notice the difference today. Unfortunately, one of the stations I listened to the most was deleted and replaced by a "similar" one. They also seem to have removed the LedZep channel.... and you can only imagine how upset I am about that.

Would have been nice if they had perhaps conducted some sort of poll before screwing with it.

Dude, on their website, it says Ledzeppelin 24/7 is still available on station 33 but will be replaced by the bridge effective 1/1/09

I didn't much care for The Beat, I found it had too much non-dance music that was remixed that they then felt became qualified to play. I have XM in my E90 and Sirius in my Benz so I've had my fair share of both and agree with Ramos that BPM is vastly superior.

Glad Xm and Sirius could kill like 3 jobs by consolidating stations -that really makes the case for the merger.

F*ing got in the car tonight & some of my fav XM channels = gone.

Bastards.

I probably woulda done the same if it were my company, tho'...

I'm glad to hear The Beat is gone. That station was rubbish.

Now I wish Sirius would increase the bitrate of the channels. It's really bad...

Well, I am so fricken pissed off about this.

I loved "The System". It kicks the crap out of Area any day and I specificaly did not get Sirius in my car so I can listen to XM just for this channel.
Area is complete crap!!

Now, they canceled my channel and I can only listen to it on line.

I'm going to send a message to them every day.
I'm pissed!!

I'm with you I actually listened to that station all the time. It reminded me of the good ol' days when rap and hip hop didn't suck! Actual rhymes instead of a stupid ass hook and a beat yellin' about "I got money, I got cars, I got bitches"
