G80 6Spd with BMS intakes

Hey guys,

I just installed the BMS intakes on my 2021 G80 with manual transmission. I absolutely recommend getting these intakes if you are a G8X owner especially if you own the manual version. The sound is intoxicating. Though I don't feel the hp difference, the sound alone is worth the purchase. [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Do you need jb4 or ecu changes to use these? Or can you just swap out the air filters?

The piping replaces the stock piping and sits on the lower section of the intake box. These are almost as safe as the stock filters, I say almost only because the stock filter is completely enclosed.

It was super easy to install, I would say about 30 minutes. Although I have JB4 installed and I'm only running on map 1, it doesn't require JB4 to run these intakes

Do you carry this line of products? Did you have to remove the grille to install?

you need to remove the front bumper to install the front-facing intakes.
the install takes a couple of hours but its worth it

if you are looking for a simpler install, get the regular BMS intakes

we offer both, i will dm you the links

I wanna give out a shout out to Extreme power house. They were amazing both on customer service and quick shipment of the intakes for both me and a friend of mine as well. I definitely recommend going through them for the purchase

Thinking about purchasing these front mount BMS intakes on my 6MT.

Does anyone have these installed with either the CSL style grill or something similar? Would that work or would the filters be too exposed?

Front mount intakes are the true upgrade. Top mount intakes are an absolute waste of money especially if it's not covered. It'll just suck in all the hot air from the engine bay

Have the same intakes, they do sound awesome. Would have liked to do a comparison before and after regarding performance. Unfortunately I didn't install mine, they were on my car when I purchased. Have a feeling the car gets. heat soaked quicker in hotter areas like I'm in. Looking for stock intakes let me know if your willing to sell yours!
