Echo through Bluetooth??
Everyone I speak to on my BMW hands free says that they hear an echo. I have a blackberry bold and previously had a blackberry curve. Both phones echo.
Does anyone else have this problem. Could something be wrong with the BMW handsfree? |

I occasionally get an echo but i always thought it was my phone i have a samsung SGH-T819 from t-mobile. So could be the bluetooth, then again it echoes sometimes anyway. You might just have a bad connection?

the people i talk to says it sounds like im in a tunnel and can't hear me as good...It's driving me nuts bc i dont know any adjustments and the dealer checked it and its fine...I have a blackberry 8800. Maybe a new BOLD may just fix it but i think it's the connection..Anyone know how to improve sound quality from the speaker so they can hear me better? Can the echoeing or tunnel sounds be fixed?

Here is a suggestion. It worked for me when I paird my BB 8830 with a bluetooth desktop speaker phone.
On you BB go to options --> bluetooth. Highlight the paired device, choose Device Properties. You should see an option called Echo Control. The available settings are Auto, On, Off Try the different settings. I set mine to ON and it fixed the echo problem with my BT desktop speaker phone. It was set to Auto prior. |
