M Performance Exhaust questions for '22 m240i

A few questions, and maybe someone familiar with the G20/G22 can help answer.

It's my understanding that the current m340 and m440 are mild hybrids and as a result the exhaust noise is quieter than our g42 m240s, which thankfully do not have the mild hybrid system (as if it needed more weight).

When the MPE does come out for the m240, which previous model year would have the most similar sound characteristics, maybe the 2019 G20?

Does anyone know how long it took after the g20 released for the MPE to be available?

The MPE is Available to order, your local dealership should be able to get the part number from a M240i VIN and get pricing for you. Will probably be a little bit of a wait since it is coming from germany.

Denver, if it's not too much trouble would you mind posting that part number if you happen to come across it again?

I've checked in ETK for the part number on my US spec 240 and it still shows unavailable. I've got a client that is interested in one too.

Thanks, and congrats on the new car!

Some of these accessories still aren't showing for the g42 with US dealers. When I ordered the floor mats for mine in earlier November the dealer wasn't able to find the part using my vin number. I provided them the part number from the BMW Canadian catalog and he found the part.

I asked my CA about the MPE a couple of weeks ago. He checked with the parts department who said they saw it listed but didn't have a part # yet.

Getbmwparts.com doesn't see the exhaust as an option currently.
They also couldn't order the carbon fiber front lip. It's currently blocked for them. It's just weird since it's avaliable on shopbmwusa.com

They can order the carbon spoiler though as well as the door sills and black badge

What is their price on the spoiler and badge? I went to the site, but it only lets you select up to MY21 vehicles.

I used BMW Parts Wholesale. Spoiler was $460.06 and badge was $47.66 but is on back order and was removed from my order. My spoiler gets in tomorrow.

https://www.getbmwparts.com/c-g42-2-series-2022--727

But I used the part numbers from shopbmwusa.com and searched them on their site

That order site seems cheaper bmw wholesale but I saw this company is on the forums
