I'm stuck at work at this moment but I'm sure there was a post somewhere on x5 f15/f16 have a search there, some newer vehicles had this coding option removed but I don't want to give you false info, if you can't find it once I get back home I will have a look.

Great results, to my eye looks like yours have same speed all the way down where on mine bit faster once you press button but then slows down before closes, anything better then how they come out the factory

Yeah it's way better now.
I think when it initially starts moving it goes to go fast but slows down after less than a second.

So what values have you put in your coding? Looking at the post on x5 forum you can enter individual speeds for 6 different tailgate position?, might be worth playing with figures so it comes down faster till gets somewhere near latch, if you happy with result leave it as it is.

Yeah I will have a play around with it, but I followed the post where is says change node 1 and 2 and someone said they used value 0A for both, so that's what I did.

hmm I wonder if Node 1 is responsible for speed near the latch or Node 2, because when you look at the coding of pre 2017 normally the numbers are ascending example byte 1 = 20 byte 2= 30 ect., so if you went with lower number at Node 1 and higher number Node 2 you might have a faster closing speed then slowing down just before it laches, as you went for same value to my understanding this mean same speed all the way

I changed node 2 up 2 values and it's a bit quicker to close in the mid section. I think it's about 1second quicker overall. I'm happy with that

HI Abzynthe,

Where did you find the parameters to change? I have an f36 2017 lci and I can fin only numbers instead of folder names.

I want to code via Esys

Thank you very much!

I'm doing it via BimmerCode so the values are all mapped already. I'm not sure what the values for Esys are unfortunately

On a side note, I had to speed up node 1 to the next setting as it wasn't latching properly.

Would you mind sharing you exact values. I lost track what now needs to be put in node 1 and node 2

Thank you

Thank you
Open BimmerCode and go to HKFM2 ECU,
turn on Expert mode, and then change:
3011 APPL_PLG_SPEED_PROFILE > ProfileCloseStopNode1PwmPIg > wert00A0
3011 APPL_PLG_SPEED_PROFILE > ProfileCloseStopNode2PwmPIg > wert010E

Tested on F36 LCI 2017 ✌️

Hi guys

I am coding with e-sys my car is 2015 F36.

But I do not know what values to use for softer closing tailgate.

Module - HKFM
Folder - DREHZ_SEGMENT_SCHL

As seen in bimmercoding app- I assume it is right place for e-sys also.

So I choose ausgelesen folder there. I see there multiple values rr05,rr04,f36 etc.

When I choose only f36 it shows werte is 4C, and it repeats 9 times

What values should I put in there to get it working?

I also tried rr06, f01 settings but nothing changed.

Thanks!!!

UPDATE! SOLUTION: i used code 0C, 0C, 1C, 2C, 4C, 4C, 4C, 4C, 4C

And its now much better. For some maybe too slow but good for me.
