I live in Maryland and I have a 2019 X5 which is coming off a lease soon. I currently have about 29,000 miles on the car.

Does anyone have any idea what the best prices are for:

1. Extended Warranty - 7 years/100,000 miles
2. Maintenance Program - 7 years/100,000 miles

Do you offer any tire and wheel warranty - getting ready to close on a new X5 and will probably want a warranty for the wheels.

BMW Wheel & Tire can only be purchased with the car when you take delivery. But that policy is pretty light on coverage (no cosmetic for instance).

Any issues if I buy extended warranty from Steve Thomas BMW and then take my X7 in to selling dealer for service? Do they care? Do I still get loaner car? Anybody have any problems?

No, it does not matter which dealership you buy the Extended Warranty or Maintenance Package from. Any Service dealership will honor it.

You can only get this when you sign, once the car leaves the dealership you are no longer able to buy that specific plan unfortunately

No, none at all. Dealerships actually love when you bring your car to them, if you bought from them or not, bc they get the service business.

Here's my situation and hope you can help!

I have a 2020 X5 that I am buying out at the end of the lease. I have the option to get it CPOed at the dealership for about 2k. I have also secured financing from a local Credit Union for a lower rate than the dealership is offering.

Given that, I would like to know if buying an extended warranty would be cheaper than the 2k they are asking for essentially a 1 year extended warranty?. (I have AAA for roadside and also my insurance).

Or is there something that CPO provides that can justify the 2k.

hey there my friend. I would suggest getting the vin number of the vehicle and the current miles and then shooting our gal christine a quick buzz with your question as well as the info of the vehicle and she can shoot you a quote and reply on a comparison etc..

Just bought both maintenance and extended warranty from Cristine. Her prices were far better than the prices I was getting down here in Miami. Bought out my lease back in April before lease would be up next month and wanted the maintenance and warranty. Glad she was recommended on the forum.
