Cobra XRS 9540 radar detector

anybody know anything about it just payed 140$ for it wanna know if i should open it or not?

ive been driving around with it for the past 2 days now, got a couple false alarms at the malls and stuff drove by those radars that tell you your speed and it gave me the alert. i ahve 12 more days to return it and want to know if i should return it or not. this is the first time that im acctually looking for cops to see if it works.

Cobras are notoriously leaky and have substandard detection compared to most of its peers. If you are looking for a detector in that price range , then try taking a look at a Whistler PRO 7 or XTR 695.
