Windshield Washer Reservoir Removal
I have a plugged up washer strainer. As i was attempting to remove the reservoir from the body, I was unable to separate (1) the reservoir from the from the filler pipe(7). Access is limited as the filler is in the engine bay and passes through the body to connect to the reservoir. Tried prying against it from the wheelwell access with no success. Trying not to damage it, but unless there's a "trick", I'm going to cut it and replace with a new filler pipe
Any suggestions are welcomed! |

There's a small screw on the forward side of the filler cap. Once released the whole filler body should lift. It will then come away from the hose( hose stays with tank for removal)

That small screw on the forward side of the filler cap popped out for me and went rattling down somewhere in the engine bay. I spent some time looking for it but couldn't find it.
1. Is it ok I couldn't find it? Such a tiny screw, I can't imagine it could land somewhere that might damage the engine. 2. Is there somewhere I can order a new screw for the filler body? |
